Learning Area workshops – bookings 2009
Teachers are invited to register for a one day new SACE Learning Area workshop.
The Workshop program will enable teachers to focus on:
- New and revised subjects and local program opportunities in the Learning Area
- Context for these developments
- Capabilities including Communication
- Performance standards and quality assurance to support student outcomes in these Learning Areas
- Using student exemplars and performance standards in practical task design and assessment activities
Please note:
- Subject outlines are available progressively on the SACE Board website.
- Pre-reading of subject outlines is encouraged. Participants are asked to bring a copy to the workshop.
- Metro workshops: book into the most convenient date for your main subject.
- Regional workshops will cover the range of subjects within the Learning Area.
- Schools can use future SACE Professional Development grants to cover costs for participation.
- Morning tea will be provided. Participants need to organise their own lunch, transport to the venue, and all day parking if travelling by car to Pilgrim Hall.
- An automatic acknowledgment of conference registration is sent. If your preferred conference is full you will be contacted.
